Tamil Thalaivas Announce Sanjeev Baliyan as Head Coach for Season 12

Tamil Thalaivas proudly announce the appointment of Sanjeev Baliyan as the head coach for the upcoming Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League. Baliyan, who successfully led Jaipur Pink Panthers as head coach for the past four seasons, brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the team.  

With this appointment, Tamil Thalaivas return to a traditional coaching structure, comprising a head coach and an assistant coach, as part of their renewed approach to the league.  

The decision follows the departure of former coaches  Udayakumar and Cheralathan Dharmaraj, who made significant contributions to the team during their tenure. Despite facing challenges, including multiple injuries that affected performance and led to a 9th-place finish last season, the Thalaivas remain determined to bounce back stronger.  

Speaking about the changes, CEO Shushen Vashishth stated, "As mentioned earlier, we are committed to a fresh start for Season 12. We have implemented several internal changes and believe the appointment of Sanjeev Baliyan as head coach will bring a renewed energy and perspective to the team and its players."  

Sanjeev Baliyan, a seasoned professional in the Pro Kabaddi League, boasts an impressive track record, having clinched two league titles with the Jaipur Pink Panthers and the Patna Pirates. His tenure with Jaipur Pink Panthers was marked by consistent team performance under his guidance. As a former Junior National Coach, Baliyan has demonstrated a unique ability to nurture and elevate young talents to the professional stage. 

With the Tamil Thalaivas currently seeking a leader who can develop emerging talents and bring a fresh perspective to the team, Sanjeev Baliyan emerges as an ideal candidate to spearhead this transformative phase.

The Thalaivas are currently undergoing a strategic overhaul, focusing on strengthening their core and addressing the challenges faced in the previous season. With a revamped coaching structure and a renewed vision, the team is prepared to make an impactful comeback in Season 12.
